I've been talking a lot about the newest workout program from Shaun T Focus T25 but I wanted to tell you about a few other things that I have been utilizing over the past 4 years working out with Beachbody programs that have all added to the success of my weight loss and maintenance. I'd like to introduce you to my pre workout drink ...
What's that you say? Ditch your scale? But but but ... the scale is my friend. NO IT'S NOT ... THE SCALE IS YOUR ENEMY! It can make you feel badly about any progress you've made if you don't see it go down. The scale is often not the litmus test for success!

Any fitness program, whether it be with a personal trainer or at home following a DVD, requires a certain amount of complete dedication to the program you are doing in order to see the results you want. You get out of fitness what you put into it. Doing something half way is going to yield "half way" results

As you know, I recently joined the Team Beachbody Coaching Program ... but being a coach to me is much more then just "making money" off of you or "getting the discounts for being a coach". Being a coach means changing lives ... and that's what I am setting out to do. This is a long one but worth it ;)

Day 6 & 7 in the program are rest days so was is really my 6th day of working out, start of week 2 and Day 8 in the program. I decided that starting this week I would add runs before the workout and so off I went in 95+ degree heat up the hill ... Hey, I had new shoes ... had to try them out ;)

It was doubles day last Friday and that meant Lower Focus and Cardio. I was going to break up the workout and do it 2 separate times but then decided that I would do them back to back as that is how I was going to have to do them in a work week. See? Even though I had Friday off I STILL got my workout in.
